I also recommend driving into Nosara itself and shopping at â??Super Nosaraâ??, the grocery store. There is a smaller version in the beach town, but the one in town has far more selection and better prices. Do not be afraid of either produce or meat. We found great fresh fish and other meats and cooked without any problems. The supermarket carries a full range of liquor, wine, and beer as well as everything else you could want. Bottled water is available at the house, but a lot of money is put into the local water system to make sure it safe.
The roads were never an issue. Bumpy, well traveled, and dirt, but even in the rainy season we had no problems. I definitely recommend and SUV. Theft is a problem that we avoided. Only take what you need and donâ??t leave your vehicle unlocked.
I highly recommend the Casa De Memhis, Nosara, and Costa Rica. We had a phenomenal time with no difficulties. This area is off the beaten path enough to be pristine, not crowded, and is a great escape for individuals, couple, or families.
I will definitely be returning in the future. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my experiences.
